ABOUT HYDROGEN
BREAKING DOWN THE SMALLEST MOLECULE
Hydrogen gas has been shown to have a therapeutic effect on over 70 human diseases, but what is Hydrogen?
Hydrogen is the lightest and smallest element (H). It consists of only one electron and one proton and, under normal conditions, it exists primarily in its diatomic form as molecular hydrogen (H2) gas. It is colorless, odorless, non-metallic and tasteless. It is what powers the sun through fusion to produce helium.

Two Forms of Hydrogen
Atomic Hydrogen

A single hydrogen atom (H) is neutral and has an unpaired electron. It is thus a free-radical, which is why atomic hydrogen is rare. When atomic hydrogen is producted via electrolysis it readily reacts with another hydrogen atom to form stable molecular hydrogen. Atomic hydrogen has also been termed "active hydrogen", but its stable existence in aqueous solution remains unproven. Active hydrogen is not a scientific term and is frequently used in pseudo-scientific marketing hype.
Molecular Hydrogen

Molecular hydrogen gas, or H2, (g), is the primary form in which hydrogen is found. In other words, two hydrogen atoms (H) are covalently bonded ( a type of chemical bond) together as H-H. Because there are two hydrogen atoms, we call this diatomic hydrogen, di meaning two. It is a form ofh ydrogen that has been shown to exert the wide range of therapeutic effects. It is extremely small in size and high lipid solubility allows it to diffuse into the subcellular compartments of the mitochondria and other locations.

How Energy is Created
The foodstuff, carbohydrate, is essentially a packet of hydrogen, a hydrogen supplier, a hydrogen donor, and the main event during its combustion is the splitting off of hydrogen.
This way of representing it is meant to bring out the fact that our body really only knows one fuel, Hydrogen.
So the combustion of hydrogen is the real energy-supplying reaction.
